It’s been more than three weeks since the inaugural TEDxPotomac brought together an energized crowd in-person and online, trended on Twitter in DC, and featured some of the DC area’s most dynamic speakers.

And now that you’ve had plenty of time to digest your experience, we want you to tell us about it!

Please take some time to complete the form below; your honest, constructive feedback is absolutely crucial to us as we start considering how TEDxPotomac 2011 will be shaped.

From our talented hosts Chris Keener and Melissa Krodman comes this little gem on Craigslist featuring Craig Newmark himself. Hope you caught his talk last Thursday, and, if not, stay tuned for archival videos of TEDxPotomac coming soon!

P.S. Just in case the hosts’ sarcasm didn’t come across, Chris and Melissa were actively recruited by TEDxPotomac and did NOT, in fact, get the gig through Craigslist!

We’re looking forward to you joining us tomorrow in-person at the Dorothy Marvin Betts Theatre, or watching our livestream from the comfort of your living room, or organizing a simulcast viewing party with friends, colleagues, neighbors, or strangers.

BE SURE TO CHECK OUT THE SCHEDULE SO YOU DON’T MISS ANYTHING!

Here are some tips if you’re coming to the one-day event on Thursday, May 20:

Registration opens at 8 AM and is likely to be crowded since we’ll have about 400 people attending the event; you might want to arrive early to take advantage of being among the first to get some food (light breakfast and coffee provided) and generally scope out the venue to decide where you’ll want to sit throughout the sessions.

We’ll be giving everyone t-shirts, but you might want to bring a bag to carry around the shirt and/or other grab-bag style items you’ll get throughout the day — including business cards.

The “T” in TED stands for Technology, but as these things go, we want to be respectful of the speakers and the other attendees who are there to listen, learn, and inspire (or be inspired). Ringers need to be off, and no technology should interrupt the TEDxPotomac experience throughout the day.

The sessions are shorter in length than what you might experience at other conferences; plus, we’ll be having features populating the day throughout speakers, and we’ll be having cool away-from-the-stage interactive sessions like a drum circle and yoga, which you’re encouraged to join.

Lunch will be provided, and you’ll be encouraged to find some people you don’t know and get to know them. Yes, it’s scary, but you can handle it. We believe if you!

One of our awesome sponsors, ThreeSpot, will be bringing a photo booth where you can get paired up with someone and take some sweet photos.

Everything is scheduled to wrap by 5:15 PM with lead organizer Patrick Smith’s closing remarks, so it’s ONE DAY OF FUN and we’re just thrilled you’ll be able to experience it with us!!

Throughout the day next Thurs (it’s coming up!), we’re presenting several short features in addition to our announced speakers.

One of our special guests is tap dancing phenom Luke Spring, who’s lighting up stages at 7 years old. Recently, he was featured on the Ellen DeGeneres show!

Our hosts, Chris Keener and Melissa Krodman – inimitable themselves – ran into him last week in front of the Portrait Gallery.

Fortunately, there was a video camera that caught it all:
