Host a Simulcast Party!
NOTE: We are currently editing the videos streamed live during the event and will be releasing 1-2 presentations online each week. Stay tuned to our blog to learn more.
We sold out tickets within the first 24 hours of our general admission ticket openings. But you can still experience TEDxPotomac by hosting a simulcast party at your office, school, or restaurant/bar!
A simulcast event allows you to tap into the live webstreaming we’ll have at TEDxPotomac and then broadcast that from your laptop to a big-screen or projection TV. So, engage with cutting-edge ideas that are shaping our world, connect with others of like mind, and be part of the larger TEDxPotomac community beyond the in-person event on Thursday, May 20, by organizing a simulcast party with all your friends in one of three sizes:
- All-Day
- Half-Day
- Single-Session (an hour and a half)
What’s so great about hosting a simulcast?
- It’s FREE!
- You can ask questions to speakers in real-time via Twitter
- You’ll be invited to the TEDxPotomac afterparty
- You’ll receive a listing on our site of public event locations (unless you are organizing a private event)
- TEDxPotomac will promote your simulcast event through our tweets to encourage more attendees
